  A small, local gym, Revolution Fitness is a great way to get your workout in if you are in the East Lake area. There is just enough equipment to get in the perfect workout of your choice -- treadmills, ellipticals, a stationary bike, free weights/dumbbells, and a comprehensive circuit of resistance machines. There's also a jump rope, yoga/balance balls, yoga mats, TRX strap, and resistance bands available in the back, which is also the perfect area to do all that post-workout stretching.
  
  It opens early (5:30a) and closes late (10p), with staffed hours throughout the day. If no one else is around, I will often play my music during this time. The lights are on timers, so if you're there during unstaffed hours, you pretty much have the place to yourself. I love that it is a nice, cozy gym and a judgement-free zone. You can just go in, do your thing, and head out. If staff is on hand, you can ask any questions you might have about the machines and you will be shown how to correctly use them.
  
  The proprietor is a licensed chiropractor, and there is a massage therapist on staff (with a private room in the back). I've also seen personal training services available, but not in session. You can pick and pull the services you want as a monthly package, or schedule a once-in-a-while appointment if that's more your style.
  
  It is always clean! So much cleaner than the big box gyms around town.
  
  It is also very affordable! There is a great package deal advertised out front that will let you try the different services available. I personally found an awesome intro deal on Groupon. Then there is a low monthly price after that. Plus, you can just grab a day pass at the front if you're curious.
  
  You might be sore, but you won't be disappointed. Give it a try!
